Job Overview
In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission links. Your work will involve analyzing the interaction between these links and surrounding AC networks, as well as related stability studies. As an Electrical Engineer in our department, you will have the opportunity to contribute to large-scale HVDC projects across various stages of their lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities
You will perform complex studies, analysis, and optimizations of system dynamic performance for our HVDC deliveries, including the development of control algorithms. Additionally, you will contribute to testing and commissioning of control and protection systems at our sites worldwide. You will also participate in different project stages, from sales support during marketing phases to order project completion, collaborating closely with experts from diverse disciplines.

Requirements
To succeed in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, electrical power systems, or a related field. Relevant experience as a Power System Studies Engineer or recent graduation are both welcome. Proficiency in software tools such as PSCAD/EMTDC, PSSE, DIgSILENT's PowerFactory, Matlab, and/or ETAP is essential. Excellent spoken and written English skills are required; proficiency in Swedish is advantageous. You must possess analytical thinking, independence, and self-motivation, along with collaborative and communicative qualities.
