AWS Infrastructure Operations Manager

We're seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure Operations Manager to join our team and lead the engineering operations and maintenance of the Amazon availability zone.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of engineers responsible for ensuring 100% availability of mechanical and electrical services, including risk management and mitigation, corrective and preventative maintenance of critical infrastructure, vendor management and metrics reporting.
- Develop and execute comprehensive engineering strategies, policies, and procedures that align with AWS's global standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence in engineering operations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and process optimization.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering operations, leadership, and team management. A degree in engineering or a related field, combined with 8+ years of experience in people management and 5+ years of relevant engineering experience managing large-scale services, is required. Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are also essential for success in this role.
