BU Underwater Systems is a leading manufacturer of unmanned underwater systems, including remotely operated and autonomous vehicles, torpedoes and underwater sensors. Our products are designed to facilitate and optimize maritime operations, ensuring safety and security for our customers around the world.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial/Bid Manager to join our team in BU Underwater Systems. As a key member of our business unit, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and execution of our commercial strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing customer requests to determine bid/contract strategy and bid/contract plan. You will also prepare cost structures (calculation & pricing), financial analysis and risk mitigating activities. Furthermore, you will scrutinize commercial parts of customer requests, negotiate terms and conditions, and support contract execution regarding commercial aspects. Travel, both domestic and international, will be part of the job.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including: Analyzing customer requests to determine bid/contract strategy and bid/contract plan; Preparing cost structures (calculation & pricing), financial analysis and risk mitigating activities; Scrutinizing commercial parts of customer requests; Negotiating terms and conditions; Supporting contract execution regarding commercial aspects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial principles and practices, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
