Embedded Vision Software Architect

Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will take ownership of the software architecture, acting as the primary contact for stakeholders and colleagues regarding embedded software design. You will play a key role in guiding our product's strategic direction by staying updated on the latest technical trends and market developments through a close dialogue with product management. You will also contribute to the development in C/C++ of camera-based sensor systems within an Embedded Linux environment.
What You Will Do- Work with the team to solve customer challenges and needs using image processing techniques and AI on embedded devices.
- Assist in building and maintaining software test environments, ensuring it meets the requirements for delivering high-quality applications to customers.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the rest of the product development organization, mainly in Germany, as well as with external service providers and engage directly with customers.
- A degree in computer science or similar, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years' experience working as a system architect or similar in embedded systems.
- Good knowledge of C/C++ and Python.
- An understanding of UX principles and methodologies.
- Experience working with embedded vision systems and embedded Real-time Linux, Yocto, RTOS, and ideally multicore development.
- Knowledge of development/DevOps and simulation tools, for example: GIT, JIRA, Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory, and more.
