Doctoral Research Fellowship

Örebro University offers a doctoral research fellowship in Medical Science with specialization in Biomedicine at the School of Medical Sciences.

The PhD project focuses on the individual interplay between dietary fibers and the gut ecosystem in relation to IBS, as part of an EU-funded research program.

This research will contribute to the development of novel tools for assessing the benefits of food and dietary supplements for gut, metabolic, and mental health.

Supervision and Support

The PhD student will be supervised by Associate Professor Ignacio Rangel (principal supervisor) and Professor Robert Brummer (assistant supervisor).

We provide a supportive research environment, and the successful candidate will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources.
