Job Description

SEGULA Technologies, a leading international engineering group, is recruiting a skilled Embedded Systems Software Engineer to join our team in Sweden.

We're seeking a talented individual with expertise in designing and implementing software for embedded devices and systems, from requirements to production and deployment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in C/C++ and experience in working with real-time operating systems, as well as a solid understanding of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems.

As an Embedded Systems Software Engineer at SEGULA Technologies, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing software for embedded devices and systems
  • Developing, testing, and debugging C/C++ software
  • Reviewing code and design
  • Analyzing and enhancing efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources
  • Integrating and validating new product designs
  • Providing post-production support to fix bugs and improve features

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Electric/Electronic/Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Several years (3-5) of proven working experience in C/C++
  • Swedish citizenship
  • High-level proficiency in Swedish and English
  • Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets
  • Experience in system design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems
