About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mould and Segment Shop Lead to join our team in Boden, Sweden.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the smooth operation of the M&S workshop, including leading dedicated planning and maintenance execution teams.

Key responsibilities will include managing proactive and reactive repair procedures related to moulds and segments, as well as associated parts, to meet workshop and client requirements on time and cost-effectively.

Requirements:

  • A Graduate Engineer in mechanical engineering with commercial knowledge and background.
  • Significant work experience within the steel making industry or comparable role.
  • Experience in managing and maintaining assets and resources.
  • Independent and methodical approach to work.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in MS Office and SAP/ERP system.
  • Sound knowledge of English, both verbal and written; German language skills would be an asset.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and develop new skills as required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
