Our Technology Stack

The RELEX Price and Promotion application leverages cloud-native architecture on Google Cloud Platform, combining Golang backend services and a Typescript/React single-page application.

Our data platform relies on Golang and Cadence/Temporal workflows, processing and enriching vast amounts of raw customer data into a hybrid data layer powered by ClickHouse and Postgres.

About the Job Opportunity:

Join our Data Platform Team as a Software Engineer, collaborating with experts dedicated to rapid client system integration, robust data management, and scalable analytics engine development.

Our team ships new functionality, integrations, and infrastructure to production daily.

Together, we ensure our product is user-friendly, fast, powerful, and intuitive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deploy data pipelines supporting Relex Promotions' business-critical systems.
  • Enhance the scalability of our data pipelines and wider platform to serve our growing customer base.
  • Support and improve our existing data operations with deployment tools and pipelines.
  • Conceptualize new feature ideas and design data pipelines to integrate them into our models.
  • Optimize data and system performance evaluation and monitoring.
Required Expertise:
  • An advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, stats, physics, engineering).
  • Proven experience in software engineering in a production environment.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing applications and tooling for large-scale data consolidation and processing.
  • Data manipulation skills, including querying, defining metrics, and transforming data for effective hypothesis evaluation.
  • Experience building integrations serving large-scale data to downstream systems, preferably customer-facing systems.
