About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Leader to join our EATS System Design and Simulation team within Powertrain Engineering at AB Volvo. As a key player in this team, you will be responsible for leading project deliveries within EATS, both for platform and application. Your responsibilities will include project budget management, leading technical project teams, and being on top of hardware and software releases, project and prototype planning, coordination of design reviews, and understanding calibration and functional development.

About the Team

The EATS System Design and Simulation team is part of the Exhaust After Treatment System department within Powertrain Engineering. We are a passionate and diverse team that values each other's differences and has fun at work. Our team is responsible for EATS global system engineering, EATS technical lead, and simulations of thermo- and fluid dynamic processes within the exhaust aftertreatment systems.

About the Ideal Candidate

To succeed in this role, you should have a passion for leading and driving technologies towards environmentally friendly products. You should have team leading skills, look for opportunities, and welcome new ways of working. You should also have a positive and creative personality to generate ideas and propose solutions for different challenges.

Requirements
  • M.Sc. in Chemical, Electronic, Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or similar.
  • 8+ years of experience in automotive product development within the relevant field, preferably EATS or Combustion.
  • Experience of leading, managing and coordinating technology, technology teams/project teams in an international environment.
  • Fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
