About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Direct and Indirect Materials Buyer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality materials and services while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing and procurement of direct materials and professional services.
  • Negotiating with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, terms, and quality.
  • Analyzing market trends, cost drivers, and feedstock dynamics to anticipate changes and drive value.
  • Managing spend tracking and proposing budgets with clear savings targets.
  • Implementing multi-sourcing approaches and conducting regular tenders to enhance supplier competition and mitigate risks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant purchasing experience in an industrial or FMCG environment.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably M3.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of risk management and responsible sourcing practices.
