About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join our System Engineering section in Uppsala, Sweden, as a Senior Systems Engineer. You will be responsible for product development and coordination in one of our development projects, working closely with cross-functional project teams.

Our team is passionate about solving complex challenges and developing innovative solutions that transform human health. We partner with customers across the globe to understand their needs and develop tailored products that meet those needs.

This position requires a strong background in Life Science disciplines, such as Molecular Biotechnology or Chemical Engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You should have excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as experience in leading and coordinating activities.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Get to know our customers and understand their needs
  • Plan and deliver team commitments
  • Create user and system requirements
  • Develop test plans and execute verification and validation
  • Work together with hardware/software developers
  • MSc or BSc in a relevant Life Science discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in Life Science and/or in a similar role
  • Experience in leading and coordinating activities
  • Theoretical knowledge and practical experience in protein purification and various applications
