We are looking for a talented Materials Engineer to join our team at Husqvarna's Materials Laboratory. In this role, you will work with materials-related issues and conduct associated investigations.
You will be responsible for handling material-related issues regarding components and materials together with materials specialists and testing engineers in different areas of the materials lab. Our laboratory plays a cross-functional role, where we test and verify according to standards, internal requirements, and freehand solutions to address specific client issues.
As a Materials Engineer, you will also be involved in investigating standards and regulatory requirements, as well as their application and interpretation within the Husqvarna division.
The work will involve practical sample handling, where you will be responsible for documenting the tests and investigations you have performed.
The role will include a variety of tasks, such as:
- Developing testing strategies
- Preparing samples
- Writing reports
- Conducting breakdown and root cause investigations
You will work on assignments ranging across various areas of materials engineering, including steel, magnesium, aluminum, and more.
