Mechanical Design Engineer Crash-Repair Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Västerås, Sweden. As a Mechanical Design Engineer Crash-Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and integrating mechanical engineering solutions for rail vehicles in the Nordics.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical engineering solutions for rail vehicles, with a focus on crash-repair.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
- Contribute to the development of new technologies and innovations in the field of rail vehicle crash-repair.
- Lead mechanical design reviews and ensure that all designs meet the required standards and regulations.
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in 3D CAD design and welding technology.
- Knowledge of EN 15085-3 and ISO 3834 standards.
- Fluent in English and Swedish (C2 level).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
