We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated climate scientist to join our team at Unist. As an assistant professor in atmospheric sciences or oceanography, you will be part of a dynamic research environment that spans the atmosphere, ocean, and physical climate sciences.

Our department conducts cutting-edge research and education, with a strong focus on fundamental questions concerning the dynamics, physics, chemistry, and biogeochemistry of the atmosphere and ocean relevant to weather and climate.

">

As a tenure track climate expert, you will have the opportunity to develop your research skills and contribute to the advancement of our understanding of the Earth's climate system. You will also be involved in teaching and supervision, working closely with students and colleagues to provide high-quality educational experiences.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research and developing new projects, as well as contributing to the development of our curriculum and academic programs.

">

To be successful in this position, you will need to have a doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as atmospheric sciences or oceanography, and demonstrate a strong ability to conduct independent research and teach effectively.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this position, you must have completed a doctoral degree in Sweden or an equivalent degree from another country within the past seven years. However, exceptions may be made for applicants who have received their degree earlier due to special circumstances.

You must also demonstrate excellent research and teaching skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others.

">

Additional Information:

The tenure track position is fixed for six years, with the possibility of extension to eight years under special circumstances. After six years, you may be eligible for promotion to a permanent position as associate professor.
