Operations Director

Instabee is a leading last-mile delivery company that has emerged as a force to reckon with in the industry. Our focus is on radically simplifying the parcel shipping and receiving experience.

We are looking for an acting Site Manager to oversee our terminals in Sundsvall and Östersund. This is a parental leave cover from July, 2025, to January, 2027. As Site Manager in Sundsvall/Östersund, you will be responsible for managing our terminal, fleet, and driver operations to ensure outstanding but cost-efficient service delivery.

• Develop the site by initiating and implementing tactical and strategic activities and improvement work that aligns with Instabee's long-term strategies and goals.
• Lead, coach, and follow up with your employees in their respective assignments.
• Manage sorting and driving operations at the terminal to ensure we meet delivery deadlines without errors.
• Analyze and identify cost drivers and be responsible for achieving a cost-effective business.
• Manage the scheduling of staff to ensure cost efficiency and staff motivation.
• Ensure the safety of our employees and provide a good work environment.
• Be responsible for the recruitment, retention, and development of staff, including performance reviews.

We are looking for an operations leader with experience in managing a team of 10-20 people, looking to grow in their career. You are a responsible team player with the ability to combine high ambitions with a prestigeless approach.

• Proven experience as a successful leader in a similar role, preferably from a growing and/or production-oriented business.
• You have a strategic mindset and come up with creative solutions to challenges.
• Experienced in handling staff issues, taking care of teams, and developing staff skills.
• You are a role model and have an understanding of how to create a successful culture and strong, healthy teams.
• Union negotiation expertise and experience in occupational health and safety is a plus.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English.
