Grid Automation Consultant

In the role of Service Tendering Specialist, you will collaborate closely with the sales team to craft and compile tenders for both established and new service offerings. You will be part of an international tendering team responsible for creating and completing bids, estimations, and quotations based on customer specifications or requirements.
This position involves working in a dynamic environment where you will formulate competitive service bids, estimates, or quotations by considering the best available product mix and technical and commercial considerations. You will also ensure that service tenders are well-documented and accurate, including full costs.
To excel in this role, you must be able to manage all aspects of the bid, estimate, or quotation, including internal and external stakeholders such as translations and governmental approvals. Identifying potential risks in estimates, bids, quotes, and related contract agreements with different clients or distribution channels is also crucial.
You will build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and support sales in ensuring a great client experience. Collaboration with Supply Chain and Engineering Teams is necessary to identify vendors and evaluate supplier offers from technical and commercial perspectives.
In order to be successful in this role, you should hold a university degree in a relevant area combined with several years of experience in Automation Systems. Technical background preferably within power system automation with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, engineering, or sales is advantageous.
Previous experience in power system engineering and knowledge of domain technology such as Substation Automation and Protection systems, SCADA, RTUs, IEDs, and mission-critical communication is beneficial. Self-motivated, reliable team player with a service mindset and strong communication and collaboration skills is required.
A structured, persistent, and well-organized work style is necessary for success in this role. Fluency in Swedish and English, both oral and written, is essential.
