Project Planner Role

COWI is seeking a skilled Project Planner to contribute to the success and efficiency of our multidisciplinary projects. As a Project Planner, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing different stakeholders towards a common goal.

About the Role

As a Project Planner, you will be responsible for preparing, updating, and analyzing project engineering, procurement, and construction schedules. You will actively participate in planning meetings with key project stakeholders, contributing to discussions on major project tasks, task interactions, and the duration and timing of these activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and updating project schedules, providing valuable insights through schedule reports
• Participating in planning meetings with project stakeholders, contributing to discussions on project tasks and timelines
• Reviewing schedule activities with project stakeholders, ensuring logical sequencing and accurate duration estimations
• Allocating resources to schedule activities, considering resource limitations and achievable task durations
• Engaging with project stakeholders to gather progress updates and maintain an up-to-date project schedule
• Generating schedule reports, including variance analysis, critical path identification, and summary and detailed schedules
• Participating in project meetings, collaborating with the team to ensure smooth project execution
• Integrating approved schedule changes into the overall project schedule, ensuring accuracy and consistency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field
• Project controls experience on EPCm projects
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Swedish
• Experience working with Primavera 6
