Job Description

We are seeking a Line Planner System Design for HVDC to serve as the center of expertise for planning and scheduling within the Line Planning organization.

This role requires the application of best execution practices in tenders and projects, as well as active contribution to plan, monitor, and report activities within the group.

The successful candidate will provide operational support to project planners and managers within the HVDC Systems team on an ad-hoc basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee engineering, design, and supply chain for each project at a macro level to ensure timely completion.
  • Support line and project managers in planning methodology and schedule progress analysis.
  • Develop expertise in planning and execution of the line organization's scope in EPC HVDC deliveries.
  • Establish accurate scheduling methods and best execution practices.
  • Compile information, analyze, and make recommendations to facilitate effective management and decision-making.
  • Align resource capacity with project and tender demands.
  • Assist project managers in tenders and project starts to apply best planning and execution practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in engineering and supply chain planning, preferably in the Energy sector.
  • Structured, flexible, and project management qualifications.
  • Skills in planning and controlling time schedules and prior experience using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Technical interest and willingness to develop skills in other fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent English, with Swedish language skills an advantage.
  • Dynamic and social personality with experience working with diverse business areas and cultures.
