About the Role

We are seeking a Product Acquisition Specialist to join our New Product Development team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful sourcing and procurement of components and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Early engagement with Engineering & Development on sourcing activities.
  • Developing strategic sourcing plans for projects, including multi-source, re-use, ES, and low-cost country (LCC) sourcing.
  • Collaborating with strategic purchasers and commodity managers to secure supplier readiness (technology, processes, etc.).
  • Managing direct material costs for assigned projects.
  • Working cross-functionally to ensure products are designed for efficient and high-quality manufacturing.
  • Coordinating tasks and teams across multiple factories and executing project timelines effectively.
About You

You set objectives to align with broader organizational goals. You deal constructively with problems that do not have clear solutions or outcomes. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels.

Requirements
  • A BSc or MSc in Engineering or Business.
  • A strong understanding of sourcing principles and supplier collaboration.
  • At least 2 years of experience in purchasing and supply chain management.
  • Fluency in English and Swedish languages.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Experience in a matrix organization.
