Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Senior Test Engineer and will be able to develop and validate test cases for engine management systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of ISO 26262 standards and their application in automotive systems
  • Experience working with safety-critical systems, particularly in powertrain or engine management systems
  • Proficiency in developing and validating test cases based on technical safety requirements
  • Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, specifically using ETAS HIL rigs
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira for managing assignments and tracking ticket flow
  • Previous experience with testing engine management systems or gearbox management systems

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with the TACO interface for HIL testing

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong attention to detail: meticulous review and analysis of safety requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: effective test case development
  • Good communication skills: collaboration with engineers and stakeholders
