About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Environment, Health and Safety Engineer to join our team in Stockholm. As a key member of our project organization, you will provide critical support to the Project Manager in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects while maintaining the highest standards of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) performance.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager in developing and implementing EHS plans, risk assessments, and emergency plans.
- Assist in coordinating and controlling EHS activities, including interfaces with other contractors or operation areas.
- Provide guidance and advice to project personnel on EHS matters, including preventing injuries, damage to plant and equipment, and environmental pollution.
- Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and Alstom standards.
- Support the development and deployment of local procedures and tools, ensuring alignment with Alstom standards and international standards (ISO 14001 and ISO45001).
- Assist in ensuring the effective implementation of EHS training programs and inductions.
- Capture, report, record, investigate, and analyze accidents/incidents to implement corrective and preventive actions.
About You
We value passion and attitude over experience. To succeed in this role, you will need:
- University Engineer or Business Degree
- Professional experience of 3 years
- Good knowledge and understanding of ISO14001 and ISO45001
- Deep knowledge of local legal EHS requirements
- Fluency in English and Swedish
