About the Role

We're seeking an exceptional Senior Data Scientist to join our DNA department, where you'll play a critical role in shaping our analytics strategy, driving business impact, and informing key decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy advanced machine learning models to drive business insights and recommendations.
  • Leverage your expertise to elevate the data science craft within the DNA department, setting new standards for innovation and excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are relevant, impactful, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

You'll work at the intersection of analytics, data science, and business to deliver actionable insights and solutions that enable better decision-making across departments. Your contributions will directly influence key business outcomes such as customer retention, engagement, and expansion.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven expertise in data science methodologies, with strong proficiency in machine learning techniques and programming languages (e.g., Python and SQL).
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of sales, marketing, and product analytics.
  • Expertise in ML modeling with a focus on production deployment and ML engineering best practices (e.g., versioning, monitoring, testing).
  • Solid software engineering practices, including git, code reviews, and writing performant, maintainable code.
  • Experience collaborating with data engineers on data pipelines, model deployment, and monitoring.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with modern data tools (e.g., Looker, Hex, Snowflake) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Experience working within a SaaS environment, with a strong understanding of the unique business challenges and opportunities it presents.
