About the role

The Field Medical Advisor will be responsible for executing the Nordic medical strategy and tactical activities, ensuring awareness and understanding of the disease area and Medhouse products amongst key stakeholders in the whole Nordics. This role involves providing medical and scientific support to healthcare professionals and ensuring effective communication across the region.

This is an externally focused role, requiring the ability to travel primarily within Sweden but also internationally.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Establish professional relationships with experts and academic centers; participate in scientific congresses, arrange advisory boards and round tables.
  2. Deliver accurate and scientifically supported information to healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and relevant stakeholders. Prepare medical/scientific information on request.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Medical Affairs, Sales, Marketing and Communication) and external partners to achieve strategic objectives.
  4. Distribute presentations, facilitate communication, and provide medical education to healthcare professionals. Coordinate training of internal stakeholders including onboarding programs for new employees.
  5. Review and validate promotional and non-promotional material in compliance with local regulations and guidelines.
  6. Participate in evidence generation by identifying evidence gaps through initiating, supervising and following up clinical trials and medical projects (internal and external collaborations).
  7. Gather and share customer insights to inform product medical strategies.
  8. Evaluate if all activities adhere to ethical standards and governmental regulations.

Who we are looking for

This role demands a proactive and collaborative individual with a strong medical background and profound knowledge of the Nordics healthcare system. The ideal candidate should excel in a fast-paced environment and possess exceptional communication skills to connect with both internal and external stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced University Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Science or equivalent (e.g. MD, PhD, MSc, PharmD, etc).
  • At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry from field-focused roles, including previous Medical Affairs experience.
  • Superior written and spoken communication and presentation skills in English and Swedish. Experience in Neurology and/or Neuroscience will be beneficial.
