About the Project

The project aims to increase the all-year-round accessible sweet mobility of all users by developing an engineering-based labelling solution for wearable and mobility devices. This position is part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network GreeNexUS, an EU-funded training program for 10 doctoral candidates.

About the Role

The Doctoral Candidate will be a key resource to the project, working closely with the research team to develop innovative solutions for wearable and mobility devices. The candidate will be responsible for conducting research, testing, and labelling of devices to ensure safe and accessible mobility for all users.

About the Team

The project will take place at the RISE department of Material and Surface Design in central Stockholm, Sweden. The team will work closely with international partners, including the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at NTNU in Trondheim, Norway, and Hultafors Group in Örebro, Sweden.

About the Requirements

The candidate must have a master's degree in Material Science, Mechanical engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Applied physics and not hold any PhD degree. Previous research experience is appreciated but not mandatory. Good oral communication skills in English are required, and oral and written communication skills in a Scandinavian language are an advantage.

About the Benefits

The selected candidate will be appointed under a 36-months full-time employment contract with full social security and fiscal coverage, as foreseen by Norwegian national legislation.
