Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Steward to join our team at Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel in Stockholm. As a Steward, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Dish Handling and Storage: Ensure all dishes, glassware, and silverware are cleaned and stored properly to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a clean environment.
  • Kitchen Organization: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, pantry, and storage areas to ensure efficient workflow and minimize waste.
  • Waste Management: Handle and dispose of waste according to established procedures to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations and maintain open communication to address any concerns or issues.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and hotel policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as requested by the management team to support the smooth operation of the hotel.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a steward or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with physical stamina to lift heavy objects.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and provide exceptional service to guests.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the hotel.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
