Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Data Developer/Analyst to join our team at Skillspark AB. As an IT Data Developer/Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting full-range data development and analytical activities, working within a Programme Test Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting data development and analytical activities, including data modelling, data visualization, and data analysis.
  • Working with data modelling tools like Power Designer, CA ERwin, IBM InfoSphere Data Architect, Python, and SQL.
  • Optimizing and updating logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects.
  • Implementing data strategies, building data flows, and developing conceptual data models in collaboration with data stewards.
  • Performing reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and scripts.
  • Analyzing data-related system integration challenges and proposing appropriate solutions.
  • Understanding and translating business needs into technical long-term solutions.
  • Capturing and documenting business requirements and converting these into the foundation for IT design and development.
  • Analyzing provided data and presenting the findings/results to PM and business stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience working with data development and analytical activities, including data modelling, data visualization, and data analysis.
  • Proven knowledge of data modelling tools like Power Designer, CA ERwin, IBM InfoSphere Data Architect, Python, and SQL.
  • Ability to work with data flows and develop conceptual data models in collaboration with data stewards.
  • Experience with reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and scripts.
  • Ability to analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Understanding of business needs and ability to translate them into technical long-term solutions.
  • Ability to capture and document business requirements and convert them into the foundation for IT design and development.
  • Ability to analyze provided data and present the findings/results to PM and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with payment systems technical architecture.
  • Ability to independently carry out and drive technical workshop/activities.
  • Adapts interpersonal style to suit different people or situations.
  • Hands-on database design and modelling experience within single and multi-platform environments.
  • Experience with Quantexa or similar network analysis tools.
  • Analytical experience with structured vs. unstructured customer transactional data.
  • Deep understanding of the content and structure of SEPA and Swift cross-border messages, both MT and MX (ISO).
  • Backend system validation experience and understanding any dependencies and impacts.
  • Possible experience with external lookup and verification of government-owned company and address data.
  • Clarify, document and communicate the functional and non-functional requirements by using data, process or information modelling and drive delivery of a change initiative in alignment with the target picture to enable sustainable solutions.
  • Understand the structure, dynamics, terminology and IT applications of the payment systems and work closely with stakeholders in business, IT and external partners.
  • Experience working with correspondent banking related projects.
