The Job DescriptionIn this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative features that enhance the overall user experience on our iOS and tvOS applications. Your focus will be on developing solutions that deliver seamless content transitions, advanced playback controls, and optimized code for performance, responsiveness, and cross-device compatibility.
You will work closely with our Player Experience team, which is distributed across Stockholm and Barcelona, to develop solutions aligned with technical and product long-term visions. The team is autonomous in its approach but collaborates effectively with other teams to create the best possible solutions.
- Contribute to the development of features that elevate the overall player experience, including seamless content transitions and advanced playback controls.
- Optimize code for performance, responsiveness, and cross-device compatibility to deliver a consistent experience on various platforms.
- Implement interactive features and controls within the media player interface, enhancing user engagement during content playback.
We seek a highly skilled and experienced iOS developer who can bring innovative ideas and technical expertise to our team. You should have hands-on experience developing iOS/tvOS applications and a strong understanding of Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
Apart from your technical skills, you should possess excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills to work effectively with other developers, streaming engineers, UI/UX designers, and others. If you have experience working on streaming and player experience, it would be a significant advantage.
- Proven experience as an iOS Developer (mobile and/or tvOS).
- Proficient in Swift and Objective-C.
- Understanding of the iOS SDK and Frameworks (AVFoundation for media playback).
- Familiarity with UIKit and SwiftUI.
