Key Responsibilities- Lead the Group Quality and Environment Team: Manage a team of experts responsible for developing and implementing environmental and quality strategies across the organization.
- Chair the Environment and Quality Council: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the council, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Ensure Compliance with Environmental Regulations: Oversee the implementation of environmental management systems and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including CSRD/ESRS.
- Develop and Implement Environmental and Quality Policies: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement policies, commitments, targets, and plans that support the company's environmental and quality goals.
- Collaborate with Internal Departments: Work closely with internal departments to ensure the implementation of environmental and quality standards across the organization.
- Support Audits and Assessments: Participate in audits and assessments of environmental and quality management systems, and provide input to strategic processes.
- Monitor Business Environment Trends: Stay up-to-date with regulatory developments and business environment trends to support continuous improvements and strategic decision-making.
- Analyze Environmental and Quality Performance: Analyze performance data to ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations and identify areas for improvement.
- Represent Boliden Mineral AB: Represent the company in external networks and industry associations' environmental working groups.
- Master's Degree in Environmental or Relevant Field: A degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field is required.
- Experience in Environmental Management: A minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental management, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Familiarity with Environmental Regulations: Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards in environmental management.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders.
