Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Cloud Infrastructure Technician to join our data center operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the infrastructure that supports our cloud-based services.

About the Role
You will be working in a dynamic environment, utilizing your technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our data centers. Your primary focus will be on the maintenance and monitoring of all electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety equipment, and HVAC systems within the data center. You will also be involved in planning and coordinating vendor works on site, supporting other sites and teams during events and planned works, and carrying out rack power up and installation duties.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and monitor the infrastructure that supports our cloud-based services.
  2. Ensure high levels of uptime and availability for our customers through proactive issue detection and immediate response.
  3. Support other sites and teams during events and planned works.
  4. Carry out rack power up and installation duties.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need 2+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, and/or controls relevant fields, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. You must also be able to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment and demonstrate key electrical and mechanical competencies and theory. A valid driving license is also required.
