We are looking for a highly skilled researcher to join our team at Malmö University's Department of Materials Science and Applied Mathematics. The successful candidate will be working on a PhD project focused on Galactic archaeology, utilizing high-resolution stellar spectroscopy as the primary method.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and international research environment, collaborating with experienced colleagues and contributing to the development of new knowledge in the field.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in astronomy, astrophysics, or related fields, with experience in high-resolution stellar spectroscopy being advantageous. A good understanding of scientific programming languages, such as Python or Fortran, is also desirable.

As a member of our research group, you will be expected to actively participate in international conferences, workshops, and research exchanges, promoting global collaboration and networking opportunities.
