Steward/Diskare Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Steward/Diskare to join our team at Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel in Stockholm. As a Steward/Diskare, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
• Ensure all dishes, glassware, and silverware are cleaned and stored properly to maintain a high level of quality and efficiency.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, pantry, and storage areas to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
• Handle and dispose of waste according to established procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and hotel policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the management team to support the success of our hotel.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Steward or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure efficient operations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and provide exceptional guest experiences.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our guests and hotel operations.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
