IT Infrastructure Specialist

Vattenfall is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in Nyköping, Oskarshamn, Ringhals, or Forsmark. As a key player in our IT department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, digital training tools, and online services.

• Design, implement, and maintain our IT network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and distance learning solutions.
• Work in our 2nd-line support team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues (Problem Management according to ITIL).
• Procure and install IT infrastructure equipment.

We are looking for a candidate with experience in working with infrastructure for companies. You may have previously worked as an IT specialist or consultant, or have relevant education in a related field. You should have a broad knowledge of various IT systems (VMware, Microsoft Backoffice) and be able to perform advanced troubleshooting. We believe you have several years of work experience and/or relevant education in this or a related field. You should be proficient in both Swedish and English in speech and writing.

Interest and knowledge of new technologies such as encryption solutions, authentication solutions, VR, and AI, as well as system knowledge, are desirable. A driver's license is required.

As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be part of our IT department in Nyköping. The role involves 5-10 business trips per year. We offer a dynamic and collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
