Senior Safety Assurance Engineer

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Safety Assurance Engineer to join our team at Alstom. As a global leader in the rail industry, we understand the importance of safety and reliability in our products and services.

Your role will involve managing and performing safety-related activities throughout the lifecycle of our products and subsystems. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver safe solutions and ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating safety assurance activities on projects, systems, or products
  • Undertaking product safety assessments and managing Hazard Logs
  • Reviewing RAM and Cybersecurity validation activities from a safety perspective

You'll also be responsible for defining safety plans and managing safety workload and associated planning.

About You

We're looking for an individual with a degree in engineering or a related field and experience in safety assurance, preferably in the railway business or other safety-critical industries. Familiarity with industry standards, laws, and regulations is essential, as well as adaptability and strong time and task management skills.
