About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Senior Concept Artist to join our Art department. As part of our team, you'll contribute to creating memorable designs and artwork for various weapons, elevating our studio and game to new heights.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Create high-quality concepts for all stages of production, including detailed sketches, high-level paintings, gameplay paint-overs, and marketing assets.
  2. Develop environment, prop, and character designs that showcase creativity and attention to detail.
  3. Produce quick conceptualization sketches to facilitate effective communication with the team.
  4. Deliver both photo-realistic and stylized concepts as needed, demonstrating expertise in traditional art techniques.
  5. Play the game and conduct research to ensure concept designs are informed and well-researched, meeting the highest standards.
Requirements
  1. Proven ability to create outstanding 2D art and concepts that exceed expectations.
  2. A strong foundation in traditional art principles, color theory, composition, perspective, anatomy, and lighting.
  3. Expertise in industry-standard software like Photoshop.
  4. Understanding of the concept art pipeline from ideation to final rendered image.
  5. Knowledge of the limitations of the game development pipeline and how to work within them effectively.
  6. Excellent communication skills with multiple departments and personalities, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  7. Ability to take direction and feedback from the team while contributing your own ideas and perspectives.
