We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Concept Artist to join our team at Machinegames Sweden AB and contribute to the creation of our products.

About the Role
  • This role involves working closely with our Creative Director, Art Director, and other internal and external creators to develop and communicate the artistic tone and vision for our games.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality concept art and production artwork across various aspects, including character design, environment art, prop design, and more.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a strong skillset in visual design and ideation, from initial sketches to final concept art.
  • Cultivate great imagination and ability to brainstorm unique ideas.
  • Excel in environment art and setting design, as well as prop design, showcasing a deep understanding of these areas.
  • Bring significant experience working in the game and/or film industry, with a minimum of one full production cycle as a Senior Concept Artist.
  • Demonstrate very strong skills in Photoshop (or similar digital art software), emphasizing detailed and realistic rendering techniques.
  • Understand and effectively communicate the Creative Director's vision while considering project constraints related to art style, gameplay, and technical possibilities.
  • Self-manage and plan projects efficiently, providing reliable time estimates to meet deadlines and goals.
  • Communicate ideas across disciplines with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess a solid understanding of the visual design process.
  • Have excellent communication skills in English.
  • Provide a portfolio that showcases relevant work in the field.
