Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Lead Developer to partner with cross-functional stakeholders and developers to design and implement new use cases from data source to report layer, focusing on Energy Trading Risk Management (ETRM) processes.
This role involves taking responsibility for ensuring continuous operations and improvements of the data warehouse, guaranteeing daily processes run smoothly and data is readily accessible for all users.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud data warehouse development, including technologies like Snowflake, Matillion, Python libraries, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and streaming tools such as Kafka.
- This position requires a proven track record of taking solution design and requirement engineering responsibilities, with a focus on ETRM processes.

- University degree in Business and Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
- Pro-active, self-driven team player with excellent communication skills.
- A successful candidate has a broad interest in working across all data warehouse domains, takes responsibility for 3rd party systems, coordination with internal IT functions, working with infrastructure, logging, and monitoring, or e.g., BI tools.
- More than 6 years of hands-on experience in data modelling and SQL development in cloud data warehouse environments, experience with cloud infrastructure components and data orchestration tools, e.g., via Matillion or Airflow.
- Proven track record of taking solution design and requirement engineering responsibilities.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
