We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Hardware Design Engineer to join our Electromobility team at AB Volvo. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and prototyping automotive DCDC power converters, working closely with stakeholders and collaborating with internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical support and expertise to the Volvo Group within the competence area of electronics hardware design.
  2. Conduct development work with suppliers and technology partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
  3. Participate in product development projects and advanced engineering, providing technical results and contributing to technology planning.
  4. Evaluate technical solutions and prepare technical requirements and documents.
  5. Develop and implement test plans and time plans to ensure efficient project execution.
  6. Engage in external technology networks and collaborate with academic partners to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
  7. Work cross-functionally with internal and external suppliers, demonstrating a high level of respect and professionalism.
  8. Provide technical support to improve design and optimization.
Requirements
  1. More than 10 years of experience in product development.
  2. More than 4 years of experience in Electromobility products, systems, and components.
  3. More than 4 years of experience in Electrical vehicle development, power supply systems, and charging systems.
  4. Experience in production methods.
  5. Proactive-reactive quality process knowledge (such as FMEA, 6 Sigma, 8D...).
  6. Experience in PCB design.
  7. Verification and Validation experience.
  8. More than 4 years of Supplier management experience.
  9. Experience in active/passive EMI filter design and implementation.
  10. Fluent in English - verbal and written.
  11. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Educational Requirements

A Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field is required. We are looking for a candidate who can bring their fresh vision, enthusiasm, strong knowledge, and great communication skills to this role to develop next-gen technologies in a team environment.
