The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our media platform and work with a talented team of developers, streaming engineers, and UI/UX designers. You will be responsible for developing solutions that deliver seamless content transitions, advanced playback controls, and optimized code for performance, responsiveness, and cross-device compatibility.
Your focus will be on developing solutions that align with our technical and product long-term visions. You will work closely with our Player Experience team, which is distributed across Stockholm and Barcelona, to create the best possible solutions.
- Develop innovative features that enhance the overall user experience, including seamless content transitions and advanced playback controls.
- Optimize code for performance, responsiveness, and cross-device compatibility to deliver a consistent experience on various platforms.
- Implement interactive features and controls within the media player interface, enhancing user engagement during content playback.
We seek a highly skilled and experienced iOS developer who can bring innovative ideas and technical expertise to our team. You should have hands-on experience developing iOS/tvOS applications and a strong understanding of Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
Apart from your technical skills, you should possess excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills to work effectively with other developers, streaming engineers, UI/UX designers, and others. If you have experience working on streaming and player experience, it would be a significant advantage.
- Proven experience as an iOS Developer (mobile and/or tvOS).
- Proficient in Swift and Objective-C.
- Understanding of the iOS SDK and Frameworks (AVFoundation for media playback).
- Familiarity with UIKit and SwiftUI.
