Large Scale Prepacked Column Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Research Engineer to develop and optimize packing methods for large scale prepacked chromatography columns at Cytiva, a global leader in life sciences and diagnostics solutions.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Column Packing & Functionality and is located in Uppsala, Sweden. The successful candidate will work closely with production teams to ensure manufacturing processes are efficient and robust.
Main responsibilities include:
- Developing and optimizing column packing methods for new products, product care, and sales support
- Driving internal change control cases and collaborating with production teams to ensure efficient manufacturing
- Planning, executing, and analyzing laboratory investigations
- Defining and verifying customer needs
- Presenting results and conclusions from studies performed
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemical/ Biomedical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering is required. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
