About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced ICT Architect to join our team at Ericsson. As a key member of our Software Defined and DevOps (SD&D) unit, you will play a crucial role in transforming our infrastructure service delivery in global standardized ICT environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support service design and development activities, from pre-study to in-production in a corporate data center environment.
  • Support service automation with software development expertise, from the architecture design phase until the automated service is deployed in production.
  • Lead the automation implementation phase, from the service architecture design outcome, lead software architecture design for the new automation, and support updates to the development ecosystem (development environment, development support tools...).
  • Lead assignments together with other architects to ensure long term sustainability for the automation software, and end-to-end architectural software consistency and integration.
  • Follow a requirement-based approach and architectural system design.
  • Apply requirements engineering's best practices during system design and aligning to Ericsson's requirements engineering processes.
Requirements
  • Experience in creating architectures for REST CRUD applications.
  • Experience with design of CI/CD setups and related tools.
  • Experience designing testing & verifications setups, as well as related tools.
  • Experience with containerized service deployment.
  • Experience in lean and agile ways of working and its implementation in large organizations.
  • Experience with DevOps.
  • Experience in network services and/or operations is a major plus.
  • Excellent competence in secure architectural system and service design.
  • Strong understanding of development practices (Python; REST API's and JSON; Perl; Ansible, YAML, GIT/Gerrit...).
  • Understanding of Ericsson's global network infrastructure is a plus.
  • Scripting languages (ex.: Perl), Ansible, TypeScript, Jenkins, PHP, MySQL.
  • Structured and see documentation as a natural way of working.
  • Proven track record of achieving results in challenging environments.
  • Experience interacting with stakeholders in an international environment.
  • Proven track record of being a team player, interacting with strong and highly qualified colleagues.
