Axis Communications AB is a global leader in network video and security solutions. Our R&D office in Stockholm is expanding its capabilities, and we are looking for skilled verification engineers to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on complex ASIC designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and verify innovative IP blocks.

About the Team

Our ASIC team in Stockholm plays a critical role in the development of future generations of our ARTPEC chips. The team is involved in the general SoC architecture, specification, design, and verification of internal IPs. We have a long-term responsibility for parts of the ARTPEC chip and collaborate closely with the ASIC teams in Lund.

About the Role

We are seeking skilled verification engineers to join our team, with expertise in software-driven verification, interconnect fabrics/protocols, and other essential SoC-level IP knowledge. As a verification engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our ASIC designs through thorough verification and validation processes. Your expertise will be critical in identifying and resolving design issues early in the development cycle, thereby reducing the risk of costly rework and improving overall product quality.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex ASIC designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and verify innovative IP blocks. You will have the chance to contribute to the development of future generations of our ARTPEC chips, which are used in a wide range of applications, from surveillance cameras to access control systems.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of digital design principles, as well as experience with verification languages such as SystemVerilog and UVM. Proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, and Python is also essential. If you have experience with formal verification techniques, transaction-level modeling, or clock-domain crossing verification, that would be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement verification environments for ASIC designs using SystemVerilog and UVM
  • Develop and execute testbenches to validate ASIC functionality and performance
  • Analyze and debug design issues, working closely with designers and other stakeholders to resolve problems efficiently
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate verified IP blocks into larger system designs
