Anthropology Researcher

The School of Global Studies, University of Gothenburg invites applications for a four-year full-time doctoral position in Social Anthropology with a focus on Health and Medical Anthropology.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of Social Anthropology. As a doctoral candidate, you will have the chance to work closely with our experienced faculty members and develop your skills in qualitative research methods.

• Conduct original research in the area of health and medical anthropology
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant theoretical frameworks and methodologies
• Engage with existing literature and contribute to ongoing debates in the field
• Participate in departmental duties and activities as required

To be eligible for this position, applicants must have:

• A Master's degree in Social Anthropology or a related field
• Demonstrated expertise in qualitative research methods and analytical techniques
• Familiarity with the academic literature on health and medical anthropology
• Excellent communication and writing skills
