About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer to join our team and drive growth and success in the Transformers category. As a key member of our regional function, you will be responsible for coordinating strategic sourcing activities with external suppliers and internal factories.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop best-in-class suppliers within quality, cost competitiveness, and sustainability.
  • Work closely with project teams on RFQs, supplier proposals, and evaluation of supplier quotations.
  • Negotiate with suppliers on project terms, prices, and lead times.
  • Collaborate with global category leads and category managers in other regions to leverage purchasing power and maximize cost savings.
  • Drive and execute regional product strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Background

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related business field.
  • Technical and market knowledge about Power Transformers is essential.
  • 3-5 years of work experience from a similar position is required.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills, are necessary.
