Job Overview

As a Senior Data Governance Specialist at H&M Group, you will play a key role in implementing data governance practices and tooling in a global enterprise. You will join a team of specialists with great passion for data governance and data management, working together to build capabilities for federated data governance, aiming for computational governance that enables governance by design.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Implement Data Governance Practices: Drive the design of data governance practices, guardrails, and guidelines for meta- and master data management, enabling a future implementation of these practices in e.g., Data Catalogue and/or Master Data Management tooling.
  2. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with Data Domain Owners and Data Stewards to define and implement efficient ways of working for management and governance of data.
  3. Align with Business Requirements: Work with the architecture community to ensure alignment of data implementations with business rules and best practice ways of working.
  4. Collect and Define Requirements: Collect requirements for the tooling in your area of expertise and collect requirements for improved functionality to ensure continuous improvement.
