Job Title: Software Developer Core System Application Integration Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our Core System Application Integration team at Volvo Car Germany GmbH. As a Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing and developing test environments for new platforms and programs, working with software and electronic integration to maximize test value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop test environments for new platforms and programs
  • Work with software and electronic integration to maximize test value
  • Develop and maintain CI infrastructure
  • Create, write, run, and analyze automated tests for new developed platforms
  • Collaborate with the team to improve quality by enabling automated integration and visualizing status of the system-under-test

Requirements:

  • Experience from testing and fault tracing
  • Experience of testing in CI context
  • Proficient with Python programming, Robot Framework or CAPL
  • Experience working in a large-scaled software company

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience of working with version- and revision control systems e.g. Git
  • Knowledge of Jenkins or similar automation tool
  • Worked with HIL rigs and automated test systems in Vector rigs
  • Experience from working with Agile development process, e.g. Scrum
  • ISTQB certification, or equivalent knowledge.
  • Experience from Ansible
