Job Requirements

  1. As a Group Financial Controller at NIO Sverige, you will oversee the financial operations, providing accurate and timely reporting to internal stakeholders and external service providers.
  2. You will lead end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring quality control and reconciliation of both manual and automated transactions.
  3. Your role involves shaping process optimization through standardization, automation, and centralization, enhancing group reporting and statutory accounting management aspects.
  4. You will be responsible for coordinating monthly, quarterly, and annual closing tasks, working closely with business, finance teams, and system consultants to provide accounting configurations and updates.
  5. Performance checks on financial reports will be a key responsibility, identifying discrepancies and making necessary adjustments within the financial reporting system.
  6. You will collaborate with IT on functional management of applications, changes, and adjustments enriching your work.
  7. Proactive management of transaction posting and reconciliation performance is essential, driving accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
  8. You will maintain strong controls to ensure compliance with group policies and statutory requirements.
  9. Supporting a culture of continuous improvement will ensure process flows and standard operating procedures remain current and reviewed by staff and stakeholders.
  10. You will serve as the main contact person for cross-functional projects, BS review support, follow-up, and digital archive supervision.

Key Skills

  • Strong accounting knowledge and experience in managing EU accounting applications and statutory compliances.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP or IFRS and end-to-end accounting experience.
  • SAP experience and technical background knowledge are beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with external advisors and internal stakeholders.
  • An excellent command of written and spoken English is required; proficiency in other languages, such as Swedish or Mandarin, is an advantage.
