About the Role

We are looking for a talented programmer with a strong background in C++ and experience in developing multiplayer game features and systems. You will be working closely with our team to create new features and content, as well as enhancing our current codebase.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement game features and systems using C++
  • Collaborate with the development team to create new features and content
  • Enhance and maintain existing codebase
  • Develop and refine gameplay features and systems
  • Leverage expertise with our customized Stingray engine in C++
  • Familiarity with ECS programming patterns is beneficial
  • Experience with live service game development
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

Requirements

  • Profound expertise in C/C++
  • Over 5 years of direct experience in developing multiplayer game features and systems
  • The capability to design dynamic systems with complex, interrelated behaviors
  • A broad understanding of various game development areas, including gameplay, content generation, and overarching systems
  • Knowledge of physics, animation, AI, and systems that contribute to spontaneous gameplay
  • A strong foundation in 3D mathematics, including linear algebra, vectors, and matrices
  • A track record of shipping games in a C++ framework, such as Unreal Engine or a bespoke engine
