About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Masterplanning Director to lead our datacenter design efforts. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of datacenter designs, including new construction, phased expansion, retrofits, upgrades, and more. They will work closely with internal stakeholders and design partners to develop and implement innovative solutions that meet Equinix's global design standards.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement datacenter design strategies that align with Equinix's business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external design partners to create comprehensive masterplans for datacenter projects.
- Drive consistency and technical excellence in design and delivery practices and methodologies across regions.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in a design MEP firm or as an architectural lead in a Mission Critical Building operator or subcontractor.
- MSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Architecture is preferred, BSc acceptable or extensive and demonstrable experience in role, Architects to hold RA or AIA.
- PE desirable but not essential.
