About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to join our Capital Management Software Development team at Nordea Bank Norge ASA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving technical changes and implementing development tasks in the Capital and Risk Train area.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support applications in an agile development way by coordinating, planning, and driving the required development and technical changes implementation in the Capital and Risk Train.
  2. Participate in major improvements and development tasks to support our unit in adding value and delivering according to targets.
  3. Proactively share your knowledge and IT competencies, both on a cross-unit and cross-border basis, to enable the continuing strengthening of competencies.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 5 years' documented experience in Power BI development with at least 2 to 3 years' experience in Power BI Service/cloud, data modeling (with strong business acumen), and optimization and Row Level Security.
  2. Professional experience in analytical tools such as SQL.
  3. Professional experience and/or knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or SAFe including BizDevOps.
  4. Academic degree in computer sciences, mathematics, or engineering.
  5. Good understanding of Regulatory Reporting for European Banks.
  6. Snowflake working experience and basic understanding of warehouse and reporting solutions such as SAP Business Warehouse are considered positive additions.
  7. Full proficiency in spoken and written English.
