Job Summary

RT Logistik AB is seeking a skilled and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in safely and efficiently transporting goods to their designated destinations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Delivery Operations: Safely operate company vehicles, including vans, trucks, or other designated vehicles, to deliver goods to customers' locations in a timely manner.
  2. Route Optimization: Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimize delivery times and minimize fuel consumption.
  3. Load and Unload: Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transit.
  4. Verification and Delivery: Verify delivery instructions, addresses, and contact information to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
  5. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including friendly interactions with customers, timely delivery of goods, and assistance with unloading items if needed.
  6. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the safety and reliability of company vehicles.
  7. Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, quantities delivered, and any issues encountered during delivery.
Requirements
  1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Driver's License: Valid B category driver's license with a clean driving record.
  3. Experience: Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
  4. Skills: Excellent driving skills, with the ability to navigate various routes and traffic conditions safely. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  5. Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
  6. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Flexibility: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
